The Restoration Industry Association presented its annual Phoenix Awards during the 63rd Annual “Solutions” Convention & Exhibition in Grapevine, Texas, March 12-14.

The Restoration Industry Association presented its annual Phoenix Awards during the 63d Annual “Solutions” Convention & Exhibition in Grapevine, Texas, March 12-14.

“RIA has one award that is unique to this association, the Phoenix Award,” RIA President and CEO Gary Dooner, CR, said. “It recognizes excellence in damage repair, restoration and reconstruction.

Belfor’s Ryan McLaughlin presented the awards, one for restoration and one for reconstruction.

“The men and women who work to restore damaged property do so under difficult circumstances in order to return buildings and contents to their previously undamaged conditions,” McLaughlin said. “The Phoenix Awards for Innovation in Restoration and Innovation in Reconstruction were designed to recognize the efforts of individuals who seek to it better for thousands of clients every day.”

The Phoenix Award for Innovation in Restoration went to Kelman Corp.

The Phoenix Award for Innovation in Reconstruction went to Crawford, Smith & Sharp, LLC.
