Insights 2007 Property Restoration Conference & Trade Show was held Jan. 17-19 in San Antonio. Although the turnout for this event was hampered by the freezing rain and ice storms, foreign to this region, the spirits of the attendees, speakers and exhibitors were not dampened.

Insights is presented by DKI, and is open to anyone in the disaster restoration industry; the 200 or so attendees included virtually the entire membership of DKI.

The first day of the conference offered a variety of intensive half- and full-day training programs, from Advanced Drying Techniques and Fundamentals for Success to an Xactimate Advanced Training Class. Thursday and Friday offered speaker after speaker covering a wide range of topics from “Emerging Mold Remediation Issues” and “HR Survival – How to Keep From Getting Sued” to “The Future of Claims Technologies”.
