Our panel of industry experts navigate disasters, manage logistical challenges and implement innovative strategies to safeguard communities and teams. Through their experiences, we explored the complexities of disaster response and recovery, gaining insights into best practices that ensure efficiency and well-being when it matters most.

  • Barry Rice: Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Director at Signal Restoration, a Certified Safety Professional with deep expertise in disaster restoration and workplace safety.

Topics we covered:

Motivation:

  • What drives your team to act decisively in the face of catastrophe?
  • Can you share a strategy or practice that has strengthened your team’s resilience?

Logistics:

  • What has been the most significant logistical challenge you’ve faced, and how did you overcome it?
  • How do you ensure your workforce is prepared for disaster recovery?

Health and Safety:

  • How do you maintain safety through effective PPE and equipment management?
