Driving Excellence in Restoration with Stephanie Suchocki

By Kayla McGowan
April 16, 2025

In this episode of Ask the Expert, we are joined by industry leader Stephanie Suchocki. With over 12 years at Superior Restoration, a HighGround Company, Stephanie has organically risen to the role of Vice President of Operations. Beyond her professional achievements, she serves as RIA Chair of Planning & Convention, is a board member of the Boys N Girls Club and she’s an active member of the Temecula and Lake Elsinore Chambers. Stephanie is based in Southern California and is currently spearheading Superior Restoration's expansion into Orange County and San Diego.

Key Discussion Points:

Who is the RIA and What Do They Offer? Stephanie provides an overview of the Restoration Industry Association (RIA), the leading trade association for restoration professionals. The RIA offers advanced certifications, advocacy efforts and a platform for networking and professional development, empowering restorers to excel in the industry.

Highlights of the RIA Convention/Tradeshow: Stephanie shares the most anticipated moments of the upcoming RIA Convention and Tradeshow, including expert-led panel discussions, cutting-edge product showcases and invaluable networking opportunities. Attendees can also earn continuing education credits while gaining insights into the latest industry trends.

The Role of Preconference Classes: Stephanie explains how preconference classes provide participants with a focused, in-depth introduction to advanced designations like the Certified Restorer (CR) and Water Loss Specialist (WLS). These sessions set the stage for professional growth by equipping attendees with foundational knowledge and practical skills.

Empowering Professionals Through Continuous Education: Stephanie emphasizes the importance of continuous education in staying ahead of emerging trends and challenges in the restoration industry. By pursuing advanced certifications and engaging in ongoing learning, professionals can enhance their expertise, adapt to new technologies and maintain a competitive edge.
