J.S. Held Expands Forensic Accounting & Economics Practice with the Acquisition of VWM Analytics

Industry News
June 25, 2020

J.S. Held, a global, multi-disciplinary consulting firm, announced today that it has acquired VWM Analytics, an economic consulting and forensic accounting firm.

This acquisition strengthens J.S. Held’s ability to support clients throughout the U.S. with matters of all types requiring forensic accounting and economic expertise. Founded in 2004, VWM has experience solving problems for the legal and public/private sectors. The broad range of knowledge and combined experience of the VWM team includes financial and data analysis, review of relevant economic issues, and expert witness testimony.

“We are excited to add the experience and expertise of VWM Analytics. This further expands our forensic accounting and economic services for complex litigation needs, while also strengthening our resources throughout the country,” said Max Flynn, J.S. Held Forensic Accounting & Economics Practice Co-Leader. “The addition of such an experienced team is a testament to our continued commitment to providing the highest quality of technical expertise to our clients.”

Headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, VWM is recognized for their expertise on matters involving business interruption; economic damages; civil and class action lawsuits; personal injury and wrongful death; family law; partner, employment, and labor disputes; fraud; and commercial disputes.

Robbie Brannon, J.S. Held Forensic Accounting & Economics Practice Co-Leader said, “The combined expertise of the VWM team is nearly unmatched on matters involving economic and accounting litigation. Bringing this group into J.S. Held allows us to offer the added support our clients have requested, with the proven experience that is required.”

VWM will join the J.S. Held team of more than 1,000 consultants around the world. VWM clients will now have access to J.S. Held’s suite of specialized services including property damage assessment; water and fire restoration consulting; surety services; equipment consulting; forensic architecture and engineering; construction advisory services; and environmental, health, and safety services.

“Over the last 16 years, VWM has grown due to our experience, integrity, and credibility. Those principles, shared by J.S. Held, proved synergic,” said Victoria Wilkerson, Principal of VWM Analytics. “We will be able to provide our clients the benefit of an enhanced suite of technical services that can better support their needs.”
