The IICRC will present a Standards Track during the upcoming Experience Convention & Trade Show, Sept. 18-20, in Las Vegas. The series of presentations will focus on five IICRC Standards – the S100, S500, S520, S540 and S550 – and will review how to use them as well as highlight critical information in each.

Further Your Education

Interested in furthering your career to become an IICRC Master? You might be closer than you think. The IICRC offers dozens of certifications, including a Trauma and Crime Scene Technician (TCST) course, as well as advanced designations. As technicians accumulate various certifications, they become eligible for advanced designations such as an IICRC Journeyman and IICRC Master – the industry’s highest technical designation. Are you interested in helping to write an IICRC Standard? All IICRC Standards committee applications are now available digitally. There are currently seven IICRC Consensus Bodies looking for volunteers – including the new BSR/IICRC S900 Standard for Professional Remediation of Illicit Drugs, Cannabis and Nicotine Residue. But, don’t delay in filling out an application or you might miss your chance. Applications for all open Standards committees are due Sept. 30.
