Kelmann Restoration Receives 2019 Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Ethics

Wauwatosa company is one of six award winners

Industry News
April 19, 2019

Wauwatosa, Wis. – April 18, 2019: Kelmann Restoration has been named a recipient of the prestigious 2019 Torch Awards for Ethics by the Better Business Bureau Serving Wisconsin.

The recipients were selected by an independent, distinguished panel of ten business ethics experts and will be recognized at the annual Torch Awards for Ethics luncheon at Bartolotta Catering at the Italian Community Center in Milwaukee beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2019.

Kelmann Restoration is Wisconsin’s award-winning, full-service property restoration and disaster cleanup company. As experts in both commercial and residential restoration, Kelmann is a trusted national leader and local community partner.

"We are honored to be a Torch Award recipient, and are grateful that our employees and our mission are being recognized by the Better Business Bureau," says Tom Kelly, President of Kelmann Restoration. "We are a company that values honesty and integrity. There are many good companies in our industry, some in our own market. Our promise is that we are going to treat you like family. You are one of us. We trust you, we care for you, and we will always be transparent with you. At the end of the day, you can count on Kelmann."

Since 2003, the Wisconsin BBB Torch Awards for Ethics honors businesses and non-profit organizations of all sizes that meet the highest standard of ethics and trust among their employees, customers, and local communities, embodying BBB’s mission to advance marketplace trust. Recipients are chosen based on their applications, which include an in-depth explanation and evidence of commitment to ethical business practices.

“Our 2019 award recipients shared compelling and inspiring personal stories in their applications. These Wisconsin businesses are intentionally striving to be ethical in every sense,” says Jim Temmer, President and CEO of BBB Serving Wisconsin.

Kelmann Restoration has two locations – the original headquarters in Wauwatosa and a contents warehouse in New Berlin – and 65 full-time employees. Kelmann was a Torch Award winner in 2004, and a runner up in both 2003 and 2006.
