R&R IICRC Monthly Update: April 2018

IICRC Monthly Update April 2018
April 9, 2018

New IICRC Video

Check out our new “About Us” video detailing who we are, what we do and who we serve as a non-profit organization in the inspection, cleaning and restoration industry. You can view the video at https://tinyurl.com/AboutIICRC.

Database Transition

The IICRC is undergoing a database migration allowing IICRC constituents to login and update their information via an online portal. As part of the transition, all IICRC Certified Firms, technicians, instructors and schools will have the ability to pay renewals online, as well as view and update their status with the Institute. Implemented on a rolling basis, check your inboxes for an email on when your individual portal is ready for access.

Save the Date!

With tradeshow season officially underway, we’re excited to announce our participation in the following upcoming industry events:

  • March 19-21, Palm Springs, Calif.
  • April 15-18, Orlando, Fla.
  • April 26-28, Atlanta

The IICRC will also hold its Spring Board of Directors meetings next month, April 29-30 in Atlanta.

BSR/IICRC S400 and BSR/IICRC S550 Updates

The IICRC is seeking volunteers to serve on consensus bodies for the development of the following Standards:

  • BSR/IICRC S400 Standard for Cleaning, Maintenance and Restoration of the Commercial Built Environment. Current status: The S400 Consensus Body has been formed and is seeking volunteers to serve as non-voting section committee members.
  • *New* BSR/IICRC S550: Standard for Professional Water Damage Restoration of Commercial Structures. Current status: IICRC is initiating the development of the BSR-IICRC S550.
