Annissa says there are five key components to nailing a scope, and getting paid:

  1. Using the right software (covered last week)
  2. Providing photos
  3. Doing a walk-through with the adjuster
  4. Communication
  5. Be descriptive on line items

This week, Annissa addresses the need for photos. The more photos you have, the better. Photos can show the insurance adjuster why you needed certain equipment, why certain restoration or remediation work is necessary, and so many other things. This will make your life easier, and theirs, and the happier an adjuster is with your work time after time, the better.
