Insights began in 1996 as a small trade show operated by Disaster Kleenup International (DKI), a company that is now the property restoration industry’s largest contracting organization. Today, it has evolved into an industry event featuring a multitude of equipment manufacturers, suppliers and restoration resources. Insights features valuable training courses, world-class speakers, incredible networking opportunities and the most extensive trade show and exhibition floor in the property restoration industry.

The annual conference, which was formerly exclusive to DKI Franchisees and DIAMOND Service Provider contractors, has now opened up registration to all professionals in the property restoration industry for its 2015 event, which will take place from March 2-4 at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans. The conference will kick off with a Mardis Gras-themed dinner reception and awards celebration on Monday, March 2 and the conference itself will feature over 1,000 attendees and more than 110 exhibitors networking over the course of its 3 days.

The conference keynote will be delivered by Bob Vanourek, a leadership author and former CEO. Vanourek is the co-author of the five star-rated book, “Triple Crown Leadership: Building Excellent, Ethical, and Enduring Organizations,” a 2013 USA Best Book Awards Winner that has been called “the best leadership book since ‘Good to Great.’” His writing has been featured by Fast Company, American Management Association, Center for Creative Leadership, Leader to Leader and Leadership Excellence.

The conference will also feature a roundtable session of executives from top insurance carriers, who will share information designed to help contractors better understand the ever-evolving property industry and the demands of high performance work from restoration professionals.
