The Amazing Velo and Velo Pro Airmovers

Unrivalled airflow in a compact package

October 1, 2013

High performance airflow in the industry’s most portable package? The new Velo and Velo Pro airmovers deliver that and more: unbeatable versatility, easy maintenance and maximum airflow, all in a design that requires half the amps and measures half the height of traditional “snail shell” carpet dryers.

Restorers have long struggled with bulky gear. With the Velo, restorers can fit twice as much drying power in their vans as before, meaning no extra trips back to the shop for more gear. Stack five on a standard handtruck or carry two easily on narrow stairways. Plus, the Velo has a patent-pending housing design that concentrates airflow for the best laminar airflow of any airmover – especially given its ultra-low 1.9 amp draw!

Six Velos can be daisy-chained on one 15-amp circuit to maximize airflow throughout the affected area and outpace the drying rate of fewer higher-amp airmovers. And with its five-position versatility, the Velo can direct air wherever it’s needed most.

With its made-in-America durability, the Velo housing is built for the rough treatment of restoration. Dri-Eaz engineers tested it to the extreme to be certain – see video of their “don’t try this at home” tests at Velo.drieaz.com.

To simplify cleaning, the Velo can be disassembled in five minutes or less. Just remove four screws from the impeller assembly, turn the unit over and remove six screws from the housing. Lift off the housing and voila – you have complete access for vacuuming or a quick wipe-down with a damp towel.

Velo Features at a Glance

  • Airflow engineered to deliver fast, consistent drying.
  • Easiest to maintain – disassembles in less than two minutes!
  • Best-ever portability – compact and lightweight.
  • Multiple operating positions.
  • Low 1.9 amp draw – Pro offers 1.2–1.9 range.
  • Daisy-chain capable with GFCI.

Pro model adds more amp draw control and versatility

Based on the already popular Velo airmover, the Pro model provides valuable new features.

Having enough electrical power at a job site is always a challenge. How can you get the most air movement from each circuit?

Up to 10 Velo Pros fit on a 15-amp circuit using the variable speed control and an amp readout that enables fine tuning of each unit’s amp draw. The display also shows total hours for tracking airmover use and maintenance. And for even greater drying versatility, the Pro model includes a kickstand to direct airflow up stairways or walls.

Whether you choose the Velo or the Velo Pro, you will reduce your storage and transport challenges and maximize your drying efficiencies on every drying job. For more information, call 800-932-3030 or visit www.Velo.drieaz.com.
