According to a press release, the International Disaster Conference & Expo (IDCE) is currently accepting papers for its annual conference program, which will take place January 7-10, 2014 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Papers should address topics relevant to emergency management, homeland security, first response, loss mitigation, business continuity, restoration and remediation, and all disciplines falling within the disaster preparation, response, recovery and mitigation cycle.

The purpose of IDCE is to unite public and private sector industry leadership to create discourse regarding lessons learned, best practices, forward thinking, and policies and procedures which shape the industry landscape on a global scale. Topics presented for consideration should be in line with public-private synergies as pertaining to the industries supported by IDCE, and focus on policy from a tactical, best practices, and lessons learned approach.

Interested presenters should submit their presentation proposals via our Abstract/Speaker Submission Form, now available on the conference website: www.idcexpo.us or www.internationaldisasterconference.com. The deadline to submit presentations for review is July 12, 2013.
