RIA will provide three courses on Tuesday, April 23 prior to its 68th-Annual Leadership Summit and Industry Expo at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. These pre-convention workshops are optional and there is an additional course fee for these courses.

  • Lori Young, CR, Bartwood Construction, Inc. will offer a course entitled: Estimating for Contents Restoration. The workshop will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and will focus on four learning objectives that will help attendees better understand how to properly estimate for contents.
  • Michael Pinto, CSP, CMP, of Wonder Makers Environmental, Inc. will teach RIA’s Mold Refresher Course from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This workshop is designed for those who wish to maintain and update their knowledge in the mold and environmental fields. It is geared for those who require continuing education credits and is not an entry-level course.
  • Brad Williams, from Xactimate will provide a hands-on workshop from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Xactimate 27.5’s features to provide attendees with a better understanding of its capabilities through a demonstrations and a discussion of Xactimate concepts.
