Work is under way this week in the Jasper County Courthouse basement to remediate the damage done over several years by groundwater seepage,creating a variety of mold throughout the drywall, and thus a health hazard to county employees.

That work set the stage for asbestos mitigation in the basement interior, and this week, employees of Integrity Cleaning and Restoration are busy removing the hazardous mold clinging to drywall and baseboards. From The Newton Daily News.
