Paul Davis tech receives Master Textile Cleaner certification

December 1, 2009
Dave Harbison, owner of Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling of Southwest Missouri, announced today that company restoration technician April Purser, has received her Master Textile Cleaner certification through the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).

Nixa, MO – Nov. 30, 2009 - Dave Harbison, owner of Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling of Southwest Missouri, announced today that company restoration technician April Purser, has received her Master Textile Cleaner certification through the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). Purser has been employed by Paul Davis Restoration since 2004 at 1207 Eaglecrest Drive in Nixa, MO.

Purser holds additional IICRC certifications including fire and smoke restoration, water damage restoration, carpet cleaning, carpet color repair, carper repair and reinstallation, odor control, and upholstery and fabric cleaning. She is also certified through the IICRC as a journeyman water restorer and journeyman fire and smoke restorer.

According to Harbison, Purser’s certifications mark her advanced levels of recognition which are achieved by having several certifications in select categories and a minimum of three to five years of experience in the cleaning and restoration industry.

The IICRC was formed in 1972 to serve as an independent, non-profit certification body, to set and promote high standards and ethics; and to advance communication and technical proficiency within the inspection, cleaning and restoration service industry.

“We are proud of April for her interest and determination to complete the advanced designations and her Master Textile Cleaner certification. She has pledged to perform services in these areas with skill, honesty, and integrity in order to provide our customers with the highest degree of professionalism possible,” said Harbison.
