SHARPSVILLE, PA. – William G. “Bill” Yobe, 51, of 890 Mayfield Road, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008, at his residence after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Bill was born on Tuesday, July 31, 1956, the son of George E. and Cathy James Yobe. He was an alumnus of Hickory High School class of 1974.

A member of the Church of Notre Dame in Hermitage, Pa., he also attended the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sharon, Pa., with his wife Debbie.

Bill was employed as a consultant for PDG Environmental Inc. in Pittsburgh.

Having worked as a property loss consultant with over 25 years of direct hands-on management and estimating of restoration, reconstruction and renovation projects, he authored the property loss industry’s accepted guide books, LRGS (Loss Recovery Guide with Standards) and CBG (Competitive Bidding Guidelines).

He leaves his wife, the former Debbie C. Loomis, whom he married on July 8, 1978; and two daughters, Sara C. Yobe of Pittsburgh and Stacy A. Yobe of Charleston N.C.; a son, Henry “Hank” Yobe at home; his mother, Cathy Grega of Greenville, Pa.; three sisters, Gail Yobe Mosier, Cathy Grega and Alice Wolbert; three brother, Matthew Yobe, Wayne Grega and Joey Grega; and his stepmother, Shirley Yobe of Sharpsville.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Elizabeth “Liz” Yobe.
