New York, Florida recognize ACAC
The New York Toxic Mold Task Force has released its draft
report. The document says state agencies should consider using American Council
for Accredited Certification (ACAC) certifications for state mold licensing.
Additionally, the State of Florida has chosen ACAC to provide the initial licensure examination for mold assessor and mold remediator. All who seek initial licensure by examination in Florida must take and pass one of six ACAC examinations; however Florida does not require ACAC certification for licensure.
