The IAQA 10th Annual Meeting & Exposition at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino, Oct. 14-17, featured more than 20 hours of educational seminars and dozens of panel discussions and technical sessions from some of the industry’s most renowned experts and researchers.

This year’s keynote speaker was well-known TV personality and educator Bill Nye the Science Guy, who addressed issues surrounding IAQ and energy conservation. The educational focus stayed sharp, with technical sessions on “Detection of Fungi and Fungal Metabolites Using Traditional and Novel Methods,” “When Can Your HEPA-Filtered Equipment Be Your Worst Enemy?” “Post-Remediation Verification and Clearance Testing for Mold and Bacteria Remediation Projects” and more presented by individuals like Gail and Robert Brandys, Dr. Florence Wu; Craig Whittaker; Dr. Eva-Marie King; and Robert Bennett, to name a few.
