Andrew Dobson

Andrew Dobson is a restoration industry operator, educator, and owner of SERVPRO Team Dobson, a multi-market restoration organization serving Ohio and Pennsylvania. An IICRC Triple Master and approved Water Restoration Technician (WRT) instructor, Andrew’s experience spans mitigation, fire restoration, construction, large loss, estimating, and the operational challenges of scaling a restoration business. His experience has shaped a simple belief: our industry has become very good at teaching people how to perform restoration work, but we need to become equally good at teaching them how to operate restoration businesses.

That philosophy is driving the evolution of Certified Restoration Training (CRT). In addition to IICRC certification and technical education, CRT is expanding into one-day Operational Sales: Direct-to-Customer training, Soft Skills Seminars, Xactimate estimating, and other programs designed for the realities of today’s restoration market. The goal is to develop professionals who can not only perform and document excellent restoration work, but also communicate value, convert opportunities, create great customer experiences, and operate successful businesses.

CRT also offers Operational Consultations, where Andrew works directly with restoration companies to analyze their operations, identify bottlenecks and opportunities, and develop a practical roadmap for growth and efficiency. As the restoration industry evolves, CRT’s mission is evolving with it—helping contractors become not only better restorers, but better restoration businesses.
