ATI Restoration Acquires Lang Restoration & Construction

ATI
December 23, 2021

ATI Restoration, LLC, a national leader in restoration, environmental remediation and reconstruction services, has announced the acquisition of Lang Restoration & Construction LLC, a regional restoration firm with one branch office in the Southeast. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Established in 1989, ATI is the nation's largest family-operated disaster recovery services firm, operating 26 locations from coast to coast. Late last year, the company began the execution of its accelerated growth strategy, acquiring Mark 1 Restoration (Pa. and N.J.), QFB Property Restoration (Fla.), and ProCare Solutions (Tenn. and Ky.). ATI first entered the Southeast market with the acquisition of ProCare and continues to expand its footprint, adding Georgia to its service area with the purchase of Lang. The Company expects additional growth before the end of 2021.

Founded in 1995 by Lawrence Nelson, Lang has one office in Tucker, Ga. Working with a network of commercial construction companies throughout Georgia, they have earned a reputation for completing large and complex projects on budget and on time. This reputation has led to numerous industry awards for top performance, including 5-time recipient of Contractor Connection's prestigious Golden Hammer Award (2015-2020). Water restoration services account for approximately 35% of the business, followed closely by fire restoration at 34%. Wind restoration and other ancillary services account for the balance.

"I have ambition to grow the business, but a need for capital to facilitate the growth," said Nelson, founder of Lang. "I'm excited to gain market share that may not have been possible without ATI's support."

"The restoration business is all about customer service and relationships," said Jeff Moore, President of ATI. "It was Lang's reputation that drew us to them and their aligned philosophy of always putting the customer first."
