The Kaivac UniVac™ and AutoVac Stretch ™ cleaning systems have earned Green Seal’s Certification of Environmental Innovation, meeting a rigorous standard for transformative product innovation. These high-performance hard floor care machines use at least 65% percent less water and cleaning solution than competitors.

Kaivac systems use a high-flow fluid extraction method. A unique recycling function filters and reuses greywater-based cleaning solution up to seven times, conserving water and reducing pollution without compromising cleaning performance. This innovation allows the equipment to clean up to 3,500 square feet per gallon of water, compared to 500 square feet per gallon for comparable products such as floor scrubbers and autoscrubbers.

“Modern environmental challenges demand modern solutions, including commercial cleaning equipment that is better for the planet while delivering the highest performance in cleaning and user ergonomics. That’s why Green Seal’s Environmental Innovation Standard measures improved health and environmental outcomes, not just material inputs,” said Doug Gatlin, CEO of Green Seal. “Kaivac has raised the bar for what buyers should expect about the sustainability of high-performance cleaning equipment in the marketplace.”

“It is extremely gratifying to receive Green Seal certification for the UniVac and AutoVac Stretch,” said Bob Robinson, Sr., president of Kaivac. “We are taking this recognition as an opportunity to honor years of effort from our team in innovating and testing different approaches. So much went on behind the scenes to create these two systems that are lean, green, and mean on soils and bacteria.”
