After a year of momentous growth in 2020, Green Home Solutions is pleased to start 2021 by introducing two new members joining its executive team – Duone Byars as Executive Director of Marketing, and Al Winnick as Executive Director of Business Development.

“We are fortunate to be in an industry that has seen exponential growth in recent years, and we are thrilled that, due to our own impressive growth, we were in a position to add these two exemplary men to our leadership team,” said Jeff Panella, Green Home Solutions chief executive officer. “Duone and Al are coming to us at an exciting time. Both have the chance to make immediate, long lasting impacts on our franchise system. We can’t wait to see what they do.”

Byars brings to Green Home Solutions more than two decades of franchise and marketing experience, having most recently served as the Field Marketing Manager at Sonic Automotive. There, he was an integral member of the marketing team, guiding strategy, overseeing SEM & SEO optimization, and providing CRM lifecycle recommendations. Prior to this, Byars was the Director of Marketing with Christian Brothers Automotive Corporation.

“I have always been passionate about working with and helping entrepreneurs with skin in the game grow and succeed, so I’m excited to return to the franchise industry,” said Byars. “Additionally, I was impressed with the amount that Green Home Solutions – both at the corporate level and locally with franchisees – gives back to its communities. The more I learned about the brand, its leadership team, and the growing industry, I knew it was the best fit for me and that I had a lot to offer.”

In his role at Green Home Solutions, Byars is responsible for further developing the existing brand and local marketing strategies, establishing set marketing systems and processes for existing and onboarding franchisees, and introducing a brand marketing committee. This committee will bring together the marketing team, franchisees and C-level leadership to increase brand awareness and customer consideration for the franchise system.

Adding to the experienced Green Home Solutions leadership team, the company has also recently brought in Al Winnick as Executive Director of Business Development. Prior to Green Home Solutions, Winnick spent 26 years in the optometry industry, most recently with True Spec Eye Bar as COO. He has also held high level operations positions at Zyloware, Cohen’s Fashion Optical and Luxottica Retail.

Winnick notes, “For 26 years, I was blessed to be able to give the gift of sight. Now, with Green Home Solutions, I’m able to give the gift of good, clean air.”

As part of the executive team at Green Home Solutions, Winnick will be responsible for the sales and profit growth of the company. He will also work closely with area representatives and national accounts. Winnick plans to continue to build on existing relationships with key companies and vendors, and network to continue growing the brand.
