Dialing #250 Now Connects Customers with Forensic Restoration Pros

biopto hotline
September 19, 2017

Over the past 10 to 15 years, the evolution and advancement in technologies in the remediation and restoration industry have changed vastly for the betterment of how we react and respond to our client’s needs. None more so than the mobile devices we wear and carry into job sites; it's like a computer at our side.

In keeping with the advancing technological trends, BioPTO reached out to a Florida firm to create a new tool for business owners and customers.  #250 Victim Services was created to enhance not only the immediate needs of the client but to simplify and streamline the efficiency of the qualified provider to the client.

Simply by dialing #250 on any mobile device and speaking the phrase “Victim Service” when prompted, the client is instantly connected to the BioPTO call center, where their contact information and specific service needs are collected. That information is then sent to a vetted and locally qualified service provider within the BioPTO network.

What services does BioPTO #250 “Victim Services” provide to clients?

  • Answered 24/7/365 by the BioPTO live call center to collect client information so that you can be ready to respond to their needs.
  • Victim services solicited by the #250 Victim Services are: crime, trauma and death scene cleaning, blood cleanup, suicide and homicide cleanup, decomposition, hoarding and gross fifth cleanup, meth lab testing and decontamination, home invasion cleanup, tear gas removal, emergency board up services, trauma cleanup in a vehicle, boat or airplane, odor removal, fecal and urine removal, rodent debris removal, industrial accidents, medical waste pickup and removal.

Who is BioPTO?

BioPTO is a national not-for-profit dual trade organization made up of trauma scene service providers and medical waste pickup and processing firms providing emergency services. BioPTO helps states create regulations in the trauma scene cleanup industry.

The goal of the organization is to be there for families and business seeking help following a tragedy or traumatic event regardless of where they are located. The BioPTO membership raises funds through a company’s membership and referral network to create lobbying efforts to get the industry regulated by the states so the companies must meet certain criteria to solicit for business.

How can this benefit my business?

By becoming a member in good standing, you can take advantage of the #250 Victim Services program and share the BioPTO App. (Launching early 2018). Add BioPTO to your company’s portfolio to strengthen your business’s footprint in your market place.

How do I become a member?

BioPTO is always looking for qualified firms to provide victim services. Only members of the organization can be an active service provider on the #250 Victim Services Network. Becoming a member is as simple as signing up for Angie’s List. Annual background checks are conducted on the business owner(s), annual request of your current occupational license and COI’s (Certificates of Insurance) are kept on file, as well as any training credentials and association affiliates to ensure a homeowner or business owner that they have the best of the best to help them in their time of need. The organization needs this information to protect companies and clients alike when crews are dispatched to homes or businesses.
