A New Chapter

In late November 2014, the IICRC began the process of transitioning to a new management firm which was successfully completed in mid-February. After 30 years with KCI, the IICRC is beginning an exciting new chapter under the management of Metacred.

Following an RFP and extensive review process, the IICRC Executive Committee and Board of Directors selected Metacred due to its deep certification program management expertise. Based on their experience assisting other similar organizations and their vision for assisting in the execution of the Institute’s strategic plan, Metacred is uniquely positioned to help take the IICRC to the next level.

IICRCA’s “THE EVENT”

The International Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Council of Associations (IICRCA) recently announced two dates and locations for its 2015 THE EVENT tradeshows, targeting a wide swath of the cleaning, restoration and inspection industries.

The first of the two tradeshows, themed “Make Money, Save Money,” will be held May 6-8 at the Rio All Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Held in conjunction with the Restoration Industry Association’s (RIA) International Restoration Convention & Industry Expo, one price will give you access to both shows, immediately saving you money before you even enter and buy from the many vendors on display. The RIA Conference will still be the preeminent annual event for those in the business of restoring damaged structures, but the IICRCA will open the event beyond the world of restoration to everyone in inspection, cleaning and restoration businesses of any kind.

The second THE EVENT show will be held Oct. 21-23 at the Westgate Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas with the theme of “Work Together, Learn Together.” Held in conjunction with ISSA/Interclean North America, the show will include access to both show floors plus extensive education from both IICRCA and ISSA.
