RPM International recently presented Legend Brands with its second-annual “Innovation Award,” according to a news release.

The award is presented to honor an RPM company with the entrepreneurial mindset to develop the most innovated new products and services.

The award notes that “The focus of [Legend Brands’] innovation is to make its cleaning and restoration equipment more compact, portable, powerful and productive” and makes special notice of the Dri-Pod, Revolution LGR and HVE3000 Portable Flood Pumper, all of which have been introduced in the last two years.

RPM, a multinational holding company with over 90 subsidiaries, acquired Legend Brands in September 2011. Its industrial companies include Stonhard, Carboline, Tremco and Flowcrete. Consumer brands include Rust-Oleum, Zinsser, DAP and Wolman.
