Restoration Sciences Academy has added classes to its schedule for its new three-day, hands-on Intermediate Estimating course (ES283), which prepares students for Xactware Level 1 and Level 2 certification, according to a press release.

Also, the IICRC has just approved all of RSA’s Estimating Training programs (ES180, ES280 and ES283) for two continuing education credits.

RSA Estimating programs are taught by RSA’s Mitch Byrom, the only instructor in the industry who holds both Xactimate Affiliate Trainer and IICRC Instructor status. The estimating program is unique in the industry, as it takes place concurrently with a hands-on Restorative Drying Course (ASD).

Students will estimate the project in real time as they do actual restoration work. The course provides the knowledge and practical skills necessary to quickly create accurate estimates using a variety of Xactimate tools during an actual water loss. .

RSA’s full roster of Xactimate classes includes Estimating 180 (basic), Estimating 280 (basic/intermediate, hands-on), and Estimating 283 (basic/intermediate, hands-on, live flood environment).
