Broke contractor bails on Bay Street

EnviroLogic, the contractor in charge of cleaning up the Bay Street contamination in Tiverton’s north end, has filed for bankruptcy, andall cleanup and restoration activities in the blighted neighborhoodhave ground to a halt.

That was the bombshell announcement made Tuesday night, Aug. 10, at Tiverton’s town council meeting by Town Solicitor Andrew Teitz. From EastBayRI.com.
