Aramsco, Inc. has announced the opening of their newest office and distribution center in Puerto Rico. This location will be Aramsco’s second distribution center on the island. The facility is opening in August, stocked and ready to process orders throughout the Caribbean.

With the addition of a second Puerto Rico branch, Aramsco strengthens their 50+ years of industry experience and local support for their San Juan customers.

Aramsco has recently been in the news for their efforts in the latest environmental disaster emergencies. In reaction to the current BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, Aramsco branches, along the gulf coast, continue to work diligently with their customers to provide spill control and other cleanup supplies to the area. In May 2010, Aramsco opened a warehouse distribution center in Nashville, Tenn., to serve contractors cleaning up from the recent flooding events, as well as to expand their national service presence further into the Midwest corridor.

The Aramsco Arecibo branch was a key supporter in the CAPECO gulf refinery explosion response assistance. Aramsco employees reacted within minutes of the explosion followed by the mobilization of a fully-stocked emergency trailer early the next morning. During the H1N1 pandemic, the Arecibo branch was able to provide over 30,000 pandemic kits to the Department of Health.

“Our new San Juan location will enable Aramsco to more quickly support any immediate needs of emergency products and safety supplies in any commercial, institutional, and industrial customer with our around-the-clock services,” states Jose Jimenez, regional manager of the new branch.
