The LEED Green Associate credential is intended for individuals seeking to advance their career in the green building industry. The LEED Green Associate exam was created to assess an examinee's basic knowledge and understanding of green design, construction, and operations. An examinee who passes the exam receives a LEED Green Associate credential. Architects, engineers, interior designers, product or manufacturers' representatives, contractors, maintenance managers, developers, real estate agents, building consultants, lenders, and other professionals involved in the green building industry are taking the LEED Green Associate exam.
