The Society of Cleaning and Restoration Technicians launched three new regional chapters this month in Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Florida. Current SCRT Chapters are operating in northeast Ohio, Michigan, Missouri/Kansas and Georgia. With these new chapters the SCRT now has seven regional chapters and more coming soon in Maryland, Southern Ohio, and Northern Virginia.

The SCRT is a nonprofit trade association for companies of all sizes and sectors in the inspection, cleaning, restoration, and related industries. The SCRT's mission is to be the leading worldwide resource that pro vides members with up-to-date technical, management, and marketing information. The SCRT will help companies be successful in ways that demonstrate respect for ethical values, industry coworkers, allied vendors, consumers, communities, and the environment.

The SCRT strongly believes in developing and supporting local/regional chapters to reach out to the grass roots cleaning and restoration companies. By developing local chapters the SCRT helps "raise the bar," promote professionalism and improve quality of overall service provided by the regions cleaning and restoration companies and by doing so will benefit SCRT members and consumers that use their services.
