Paul Davis named No. 1 on The Annual National Firms List

October 3, 2007

Jacksonville, Fla. – Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling, a Jacksonville-based, nationally known leader in residential and commercial loss mitigation, reconstruction, restoration and remodeling services since 1966, has again topped Qualified Remodeler Magazine’s list of the 500 largest remodeling firms in the country. Specifically, the company ranked first in the magazine’s Top 500 Remodelers 2007, The Annual National Firms List. Since 2003, Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling has placed at the top of the magazine’s survey which ranks leading national remodeling companies based on sales volume.

The Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling network specializes in restoration and remodeling services. The company recorded 49,257 residential and commercial, restoration and remodeling projects in 2006. Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling has more than 230 offices throughout the United States, each locally owned and operated, and provides employment for approximately 72,000 trade professionals. For more information, go to www.qualifiedremodeler.com.

“We are honored to be among the top remodeling organizations in the U.S. and to once again be ranked number one by Qualified Remodeler magazine," said Robb King, II, Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling’s Vice President of Operations. "For 41 years, we have led the industry in providing our customers with emergency mitigation and reconstruction services. Many of these same customers have trusted us to remodel their homes and businesses,” he said.

According to King, the remodeling sector of the economy has realized some slowing of growth with the downturn in the construction industry. “Even with slowdown in the sector, demand for professional home remodeling, design and construction services remains. People interested in staying in their homes still invest in their homes,” said King. “With so much print and TV media attention given to creating living environments that meet an individual’s lifestyle and tastes, remodeling is now one of America’s favorite past times. We are thrilled to help bring our customer’s vision for their home to life,” he said.

“We will continue to thrive in this industry as we enjoy making a difference in people’s lives and love what we do. Whether we are working with a family that has experienced a flooded home, a business owner who has just experienced a fire in their office, recent empty nesters who wish to redefine their home to meet their new lifestyle, or families who need to expand their space to accommodate a parent, we are greatly honored to serve our customers who have helped Paul Davis become the largest national provider of remodeling services in the nation,” said King.
