TRA has developed a software app, TheRestorationApp, currently for the iPad, that is user-friendly, sketches rooms, tracks equipment, provides reports, is easy to read, and provides a timely, repetitive, cost effective way to get the restoration company the needed information.

The app “offers simplistic, industry standard icons, and a way to make the scope of work quick and easy to prepare, and include with your estimate.  TRA is hoping that with enough input from the restoration industry, the app will be integrated into Xactimate in the very near future. This repetitive process allows technicians across company locations to provide the same concise, readable, accurate information for each job.  This not only helps them, it allows the office staff inputting the scope to produce a more accurate estimate, allowing for a more cost-effective project,” the company said.
