John Cox of SERVPRO in St. Joseph, Mo., got a call from a friend with a special request. “Can you clean fourteen years of grease off of some industrial exhaust fans?”

With only seven days to tackle six huge ceiling fans, Cox set up his crew of five with just one SodaBlast machine. A complicating factor was that the fans had to remain on the entire time. So, his workers hauled hose up the sixty foot reach, and they went to work. Four days later, Cox and his crew were done. They had cut the job time in almost half.

“SodaBlast is the tool for so many jobs. Most of our work is in fire remediation and smoke damage so the SodaBlaster is our first choice for the job,” Cox said.
