7 IICRC CEC  This course goes through the essential skills, approaches, and gives the tools to manage any project that involves the response and recovery of property damaged by disaster. The instructor applies the basic principles and approaches that will lead to successful management of any project. Learn how to apply project management essentials to commercial and large loss scenarios with real-world case study application.

This course consists of a series of 8 video modules that include templates and reference materials. Upon successful completion of course, students will receive a certificate of completion and be awarded 7 IICRC CEC Credits.

-Best Practices: Applicable best practices in the project management, estimating, and scoping of the recovery of properties damaged by disasters.

-Damage Assessments: Demonstrate industry best practices for assessing projects of all sizes. Students will walk through the assessment process including a case study of the 1993 World Trade Center recovery project.

-Estimating & Scoping: Scope of Work writing, estimating and production rate calculating are discussed and demonstrated. Course includes ready to use T & M contracts, Scope of Work and Production Rate templates.

-Critical Path Plan: The objectives of this course are to demonstrate the need for a Critical Path Plan and how to create effective critical path plans.  The course includes Critical Path Plan Templates.

-Managing Changes: Managing changes is a vital part of the project management process. By recognizing problem areas and gaps in the project workplan, managers can make the necessary adjustments to avoid scope creep and other disruptive elements.

-Communications: The ability to communicate the progress of the job, demonstrate to the client that you understand their situation and offer solid solutions is not only the key to successful project management but essential to building long lasting customer relationships.

-Audit Triggers: Our audit triggers course takes you through the process of file auditing. What to watch for, how to prepare for an audit and avoid the audit all together.

-Document Recovery: Our course teaches you where to find the document jobs, how to do and manage document recovery jobs.

-Large Loss and Commercial Application: The fundamental applications that apply to the managing projects will be presented with large loss context and case studies.
