ISSA has announced the 2021 ISSA Achievement Awards honorees. The annual awards program recognizes cleaning industry professionals who are committed to changing the way the world views cleaning. The Honorees were celebrated during a ceremony on Nov. 18 at ISSA Show North America 2021 in Las Vegas.
Informa Markets’ ISSA Show North America today announced the recipients of the 2021 ISSA Show Innovation Awards at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas. The Innovation Awards program recognizes the latest advancements for the commercial, institutional, and residential cleaning industry.
The Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC), a Division of ISSA, has announced Michael Diamond, the co-founder and executive director of The Infection Prevention Strategy (TIPS), has joined its leadership team. Diamond will serve as a senior director with GBAC and lead efforts related to innovation, technology and GBAC-TIPS.
J. Darrel Hicks, author of Infection Prevention for Dummies, defines “cleaning” versus “disinfecting” versus “sanitary.” He also shares two basic principles of cleaning and shares four criteria for selecting disinfectants from the EPA’s List N, including six products on the list that he found meet those criteria.
The ISSA Show Innovation Awards, an annual program honoring trailblazing companies in the commercial, institutional, and residential cleaning community, is open for voting through November 12.
