The Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC), a Division of ISSA, has announced Michael Diamond, the co-founder and executive director of The Infection Prevention Strategy (TIPS), has joined its leadership team. Diamond will serve as a senior director with GBAC and lead efforts related to innovation, technology and GBAC-TIPS.

Darrel Hicks, author of Infection Prevention for Dummies, defines “cleaning” versus “disinfecting” versus “sanitary.” He also shares two basic principles of cleaning and shares four criteria for selecting disinfectants from the EPA’s List N, including six products on the list that he found meet those criteria.
