The IICRC has proudly been an ANSI Accredited Standards Developer since 2005 and has continued to demonstrate its dedication to the Cleaning, Inspection, and Restoration Industries by complying with ANSI’s rigorous auditing processes.
The IICRC is pleased to introduce the IICRC Consumer Resources as the latest benefit for certified firms and technicians. These helpful resources were created by the IICRC shareholders and cover industry topics such as carpet, rug, tile and stone, and upholstery.
The all-volunteer board is responsible for oversight and governance in achieving the IICRC’s mission: To establish and advance globally recognized standards and certifications for the inspection, cleaning, restoration, and installation industries.
Mili Washington, standards director with the IICRC, discusses the importance of industry standards, the value of ANSI accreditation, the rigorous and lengthy process of developing a new standard, the business case for embracing them, and on implementing them, and a highlight reel of standards in the works.
Through this partnership, the IICRC is teaming with more than 100 other leading organizations to serve as the voice of the certification community with respect to state-level legislative or regulatory actions that would affect the value of certifications.
