J.C. Restoration (JCR) and hundreds of community members worked to feed thousands of starving children in the developing world. Through a partnership between J.C. Restoration and Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), volunteers set a goal to prepare 100,000 life-saving meals at this FMSC MobilePack event on June 2, 2017 at the J.C. Restoration campus: 3200 Squibb Avenue, Rolling Meadows, IL. JCR has announced that this goal was surpassed, and instead the group packed 101,088 meals.

A total of over 430 volunteers came through JCR’s facility to give their time. Volunteers packed 468 boxes (13 pallets) of specially formulated food, designed to meet the needs of severely malnourished children. This is enough to feed 276 children every day, for an entire year. Sponsors of the event included Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Wine Sergi Insurance, Charles Industries, Independent Insurance Agents of IL, Lincoln Property Company, Tommy Hilfiger, Flood Brothers Disposal/Recycling Services, Hillcrest Property Management, Northwest Suburban Insurance Professionals, Renovate Construction LLC, Aramsco, and Crissie Insurance Group. Food and beverage was provided for our volunteers by Moretti’s / Ala Carte Special Events, Starbucks, and DeliTime, and t-shirts for staff and volunteers were sponsored by AdVantage Promotions, LLC.

“Giving back is of tremendous importance to everyone at J.C. Restoration, and to have had the opportunity a second year in a row to make an impact such as this for these children is remarkable,” said President, Warner Cruz. “We are so humbled by this experience, and are beyond grateful to our staff, friends, and neighbors for their assistance in making this a success.”
