RSA launches new online training

September 1, 2011 – Burlington, Wash. – Restoration Sciences Academy has launched new online training for cleaning and restoration professionals.

  Located at www.ProsLearn.com, RSA Online will be offering courses on a variety of cleaning and restoration topics, including water and fire damage restoration, microbial remediation, carpet and upholstery care, legal issues and more. Over the next few months RSA will be adding many more topics, including full-length courses that qualify for RSA Certification.

  To launch the project, RSA is offering three sample courses for free. Visitors can view the courses, take a quiz at the end, and revisit the courses any time they wish. These modules can be completed at the user’s convenience from any Web-enabled computer.

  RSA Online will offer a special service to business owners. In the future, business account holders can set up any number of individual “sub-accounts” to offer RSA training to their staff and track the progress of each. “The business account system will be invaluable to restoration owners who want to offer convenient, low-cost training to their staff,” said Brandon Burton, RSA Technical Education Manager. “It’s an economical solution for introducing new employees to the industry, and an effective way for experienced staff to review and hone their professional skills.”

  RSA Online courses are prepared by the same restoration experts and industry veterans that develop and teach RSA hands-on classes, plus several well-known industry experts on specialized topics. RSA Online courses are designed to be dynamic, interactive and visual by demonstrating and showing the practical applications of course content.

  “Our instructors teach with this focus: ‘Humble, confident, and customer focused,’” said Kevin Fisher, Education Program Manager. “Our goal in every course is to help every student learn as much as they can to increase their success.”

  RSA will continue to offer a full schedule of hands-on classroom courses at RSA training centers in Burlington, Wash., Nashville, and Pittsburgh and at Dri-Eaz and ProRestore distributors throughout North America.
