KINGMAN - A convention center and educational institute could be coming soon to Kingman. Barry and Carol Costa, Chris Taylor and Parisha Taylor have been working for a year to get funding for the Aspire Educational Institute and Conference Center. The company has already bought a 3.1-acre parcel of land at the corner of Northern Avenue and Bank Street in Kingman, Barry said.

The only thing that is currently holding the $1.5 million facility back is wrapping up the funding, he said. The company is nearly finished signing the paperwork for some small business loans. Once that is finished, Barry estimates it would take between five and six months to build the facility. From the Kingman Daily Miner.
