Driscoll & Driscoll announces new additions to agency Ross Driscoll, CR president of Driscoll & Driscoll Insurance Agency, Palmdale, CA is pleased to announce the addition of John Mc Govern, ERM and Paul Duggan, ERM to our agency. Both individuals are industry experts in environmental insurance. They have worked with hundreds of restoration contractor accounts over the last several years.
John Mc Govern, ERM will operate from our New Jersey Branch and will serve primarily the Northeast and Southeast. John previously served as Managing Director of American Risk Management Resources Network, LLC prior to joining the agency. Prior to that he has worked at USI-Environmental Risk Mitigation Group as Director – Northeast Region, Aon Risk Services as Sr. Vice President / Business Development, Stewart Smith Environmental Specialists, Willis Corroon of New York, Marsh & Mc Lennan, Inc. and Royal Globe Insurance Company. He will be concentrating on retailers in the Northeast and the Southeast. He will also place business for other brokers on a wholesale business through our affiliate agency National E&S Insurance Brokers, Inc.
Paul Duggan will operate from the Grand Rapids, MI branch office. Prior to joining our firm he was a Senior Vice President of American Risk Management Network, LLC. Prior to that, he was Senior Product Sales Manger for Aon Risk Services – Environmental Group. He also worked at Corroon, Alexander & Alexander and Wausau Insurance Company. John has appeared in numerous publications such as the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Business Insurance, National Underwriter, Independent Agent, Rough Notes, Cleaning Specialist and numerous other trade publications. Paul will also place business for other insurance brokers on a wholesale business through our affiliate agency National E&S Insurance Brokers, Inc.
Driscoll and Driscoll is currently the preferred vendor for RIA – Restoration Industry Association and DKI – Disaster Kleenup International. The agency currently writes business in 32 states and will be in all 50 states by mid 2009. The agency enjoys relationships with the carriers other brokers only dream of.
The agency specializes in all lines of pollution insurance including contractor pollution liability and environmental impairment liability. The agency has specialty programs for fire/water restoration contractors and is on of the largest producers of business in that class in the country. The agency has very competitive rates and programs for general liability & pollution liability, commercial autos, commercial property, inland marine, bailees, and workers compensation for restorers.
We offer the ability for restorers to work with us directly through our retail agency Driscoll & Driscoll or for their current brokers to work with us through our wholesale facility.
