DOYLESTOWN, PA, JUNE 4 –The National Demolition Association, the premier trade organization for firms in the United States, Canada, and abroad involved in the demolition process, announced it surpassed the 1,100-member mark this year.
The Association has grown over the last 35 years from 40 charter member companies to today’s 1,100-plus. “It’s a testament to our important role as the voice of the demolition industry both in North America and abroad,” said Michael R. Taylor, CAE, executive director.
At the 35th Anniversary convention recently, a number of changes in the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee were voted upon. Coming onto the Executive Committee for the first time as Treasurer is Jeff Kroeker, Kroeker Inc. Demolition & Recycling Contractors, Fresno, CA.
The Association has also appointed a number of new members to its Board of Directors. They are Alfred Gorick Jr., Gorick Construction Co., Inc., Binghamton, NY; Robert Klotzbach, ERM Inc., Exton, PA; Joseph Sweeney, Jos. J. Albanese, Inc., Santa Clara, CA; Mark Ryan, Carl Bolander & Sons Co., St. Paul, MN; and Jeff Slota, J. Harper Contractors Inc., Maple Valley, WA. International member John Wring, Wring Group, Bristol, UK also joins the Board of Directors.
Serving a second year on the Executive Committee are President Drew Lammers, Cohen Brothers Inc., Middletown, OH; Vice President Raymond Passeno, Bierlein Companies Inc., Midland, MI; and Don Rachel, Rachel Contracting Inc., Maple Grove, MN.
