If we open our minds wide enough we can find inspiration in just about anything and anyone. The challenge can be to avoid becoming uninspired when life doesn’t go the way we want it to.

In today’s Note, I offer a few suggestions on how to find inspiration while avoiding the pitfalls that can test our resolve. 

It’s never fun doing an autopsy of a failed business. It’s even more unpleasant when it involves a family business. Liquidating the assets and turning the lock on the door that one last time is gut-wrenching.

While today’s Note relates to a family business, the message is the same for non-family businesses. Included are a few suggestions on how to avoid this unpleasant situation.
