PPE manufacturer Radians recently added a climbing style safety helmet called Titanium to its head protection line. Now the company has launched a dielectric cap mount earmuff that fits Titanium and most other slotted hard hats.

This new earmuff attachment (NRR 25 dB) and Titanium provide a dual safety solution when head and hearing protection are required in moderate to high-noise environments.

The Radians DCMT25-BX passive dielectric earmuff has padded earcups and features metal-free construction, so it is ideal for use around electrical hazards.  The low-profile and lightweight design provide all-day comfort while the extendable and foldable four-point suspension arms allow an adjustable fit and a uniform pressure distribution.

“The 30 mm attachment is compatible with all Radians Titanium style helmets and most other slotted hard hats,” said Radians product manager Cindy Bullion-LaWarre. “ANSI S3.19-1974 and CSA Z94.2 compliant, this new earmuff is ideal for construction, manufacturing, and other industrial applications. When used with the Radians Class E non-vented Titanium helmet, it also serves as a protective solution around electrical hazards.”
