ServiceMaster Restore to Introduce New Job Management/Claims Platform

The platform, respond 365, was developed with Next Gear Solutions

February 18, 2015

Respond 365ServiceMaster Restore has announced plans to introduce a new, industry-leading platform for its national claims administration and job management, according to a press release. This new platform, called Respond 365, was developed with Next Gear Solutions and will begin rolling out to franchisees on March 2.

“As the leader in disaster recovery services, ServiceMaster Restore is excited about this major innovation in how we manage our business,” said Gary Bauer, COO, ServiceMaster Restore. “When a disaster occurs in a home or business, response times, process and visibility are critical for us, insurance industry partners, and home and business owners. The platform, developed with Next Gear Solutions, provides us with a streamlined system to monitor all jobs in real-time, allowing us to focus on what matters most – restoring homes and lives back to normal.”

The platform will allow ServiceMaster Restore, its national base of franchises and the franchisees’ 12,000-plus U.S. employees the ability to:

  • Accept and manage claims in real time, in a fully mobile environment
  • Integrate with estimating and accounting software
  • Access data anywhere, anytime in a cloud-based environment, providing greater transparency to insurance partners
  • Provide better information to policy holders as a claim proceeds
  • Manage capacity and improve response times in major weather and catastrophic events

“Technology is more than just an enabler; used properly it’s a way to exceed customer expectations,” said Tim Haynes, Senior VP and Chief Information Officer, ServiceMaster. “We feel that partnering with an industry leader who’s already developed, tested and proven its tool exceeds industry standards is the best decision for our company, customers and partners, versus trying to build a customized solution from scratch.”

Next Gear’s software design is based on best-in-class restoration industry-specific processes. It preserves and improves system connectivity with insurance carriers’ systems, and creates a robust, mobile technology platform that meets and exceeds increasing industry and carrier data security standards.

“As a leader in the disaster restoration industry, we’re excited to work with ServiceMaster Restore’s large footprint and ability to serve customers around the nation 24/7/365,” said Garret Gray, CEO, Next Gear Solutions. “Through our streamlined system, ServiceMaster Restore can continue to provide exceptional service to home and business owners, while also providing real-time transparency and efficient claims management to key insurance partners – allowing everyone access to updated and real-time information.”
