CRDN named sponsor of Collegiate Players Tour

June 2, 2009

BERKLEY, MI, June 2, 2009 – The Certified Restoration Drycleaning Network (CRDN) has signed on as a major sponsor of the Collegiate Players Tour, a summer-long golf competition for college-age men and women across the United States.

CRDN’s sponsorship includes national financial support as well as local involvement in eight states from Oklahoma to Ohio and Pennsylvania, and New York to Texas and Louisiana. Following tour stops in 10 cities starting this month, the CPT culminates with the national championship in the Dallas/Fort Worth area August 10-13.

“We are pleased to support these young men and women who excel as students and as athletes,” said Chip Bifano, CRDN’s President. “We also are very proud of our local Partners who have committed to being involved with the events in their communities,” Bifano added.

“The Collegiate Players Tour sincerely appreciates the support and involvement of CRDN,” said Barry Rodenhaver, Executive Director of the CPT. “With organizations like CRDN stepping up and sponsoring our tour, we are looking forward to providing a competitive and rewarding tour for these young people, as well as support for area non-profits. In fact, over the years, the CPT has raised more than $1.5 million for local charities.”

While the objective of the CPT is to provide experience and generate confidence among college players, at least eight CPT participants have gone on to play on the pro tour. More than 350 colleges and universities are represented at the CPT each year. Starting its 16th year, the Collegiate Players Tour is sanctioned by the Golf Coaches Association of America and the National Golf Coaches Association.
