Are you thinking you want to go do CAT work outside of your established work area? Usually the thinking goes like this: I’ll just go and cherry pick some losses, get paid when I start the job, make a pile of money, and then go back to my normal work environment. 

Where do I even start this month?! I am writing this on Monday, March 23, several weeks before the issue will hit your mailbox or inbox. By the time you read this, it is likely the world will have seemed to change all over again amid dealing with the coronavirus/COVID-19 outbreak.

In recent years, the restoration industry has increasingly explored the use of drones, commonly known as unmanned aircraft vehicles (UAV). Hurricanes, wildfires, and other weather-related events have served as a beta test to offer a glimpse into the potential capabilities of drones for use in restoration efforts following emergency situations.
