The Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC), a Division of ISSA, has announced Michael Diamond, the co-founder and executive director of The Infection Prevention Strategy (TIPS), has joined its leadership team. Diamond will serve as a senior director with GBAC and lead efforts related to innovation, technology and GBAC-TIPS.
The ISSA Show Innovation Awards, an annual program honoring trailblazing companies in the commercial, institutional, and residential cleaning community, is open for voting through November 12.
The show is confirmed to take place in-person November 15–18, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Robust protocols have been put into place to ensure a safe and responsible event.
Facilities of all types and sizes are eligible for GBAC STAR Facility Accreditation, which goes beyond a focus on just cleaning and disinfection to also include infection prevention.
ISSA requests that its members and industry constituents email or call their federal elected officials using ISSA’s Action Center and request their support for this tax credit as part of the next federal stimulus package.
ISSA forms partnership with the Restoration Technical Institute to deliver online training and certifications to professionals in the design-build, restoration, commercial cleaning, maintenance, and interrelated industries.
