September 4, 2009. Prescott, Ariz. On September 1, Jon Simmons joined the Sapphire team as Manager of Customer Relations. Jon's role will be to manage Sapphire’s parts, service, and technical support team. With 28 years in the restoration and carpet cleaning industry, Jon brings tremendous experience to the role.

  Jon worked for 12 years at HydraMaster as the company’s customer service manager. In his last last three years there he served as account manager for some of the firm’s largest clients. Before working at HydraMaster, Jon operated a distributor business specializing in truckmounts, portable cleaning units and cleaning chemicals.

  Jon looks forward to working with Sapphire. “We have truly legendary product development here at Sapphire,” he said. “I have a tremendous respect for Sapphire chemist Joe Domin and Sapphire VP of Engineering Mike Roden and the rest of the team. To work with them will be a privilege.”

  “Jon's experience and reputation in this area of the business are well known and we are excited to have Jon join us,” said Bill Bruders, CEO of Legend Brands, the parent company of Sapphire Scientific. “He has already presented us with some great ideas about how to improve our parts and technical support functions.”

  Jon begins his time with Sapphire with a clear goal. “I want to ensure that our customer’s expectations for quality, reliability, and support are met or exceeded,” he said.

  Jon will join other Sapphire Scientific, ProRestore Products, and Dri-Eaz Products staff in the Legend Brands booths at next week’s Connections Convention in Las Vegas.
