March 12, 2009 – Burlington, Wash. Legend Brands is sponsoring Sterling Marlin in the March 21 “Saturday Night Special” race at the Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tenn.

At the Saturday Night Special race, all winnings are donated to charities of the winners’ choice. According to a Bristol Motors Speedway release, this year’s winning team will donate the $25,000 purse to the charity of their choice and will take home the Bristol trophy. The second-place team will donate a $10,000 purse and $5,000 will go to the designated charity of each of the other entrants.

Sterling Marlin has committed any winnings in this race to the National Epilepsy Foundation.

Marlin, son of famed racer Coo Coo Marlin, has been racing since 1976. He has two wins and 11 top-10 finishes at the Daytona 500, and is listed as no. 8 on the all-time Daytona 500 driver list.
